Brixton Cycles Club

Comms & Design Volunteer

I’ve been volunteering with Brixton Cycles Club—one of London’s most inclusive and community-focused cycling clubs. I support the club’s comms by creating design assets, writing and scheduling posts, and helping shape the overall look and tone of our online presence.

I’ve produced everything from race promos and Instagram stories to flyers, merch, and campaign graphics. A lot of the design work has been about keeping things accessible, fun, and true to the club’s values—community, diversity, and a healthy dose of irreverence.

This role combines two things I really care about: grassroots sport and using design to bring people together. It’s collaborative, often fast-paced, and gives me the chance to be hands-on with both visuals and messaging in a way that’s purpose-led and personal.
